Little things to note:
The Major’s is a 200 year old cottage which was originally stables for the local Mills. The Lym river footpath runs alongside the cottage and opposite over the bridge a beautiful walk to the brewery & beach.
The property comfortably sleeps two adults and an infant.
Parking
Very few properties in the centre of Lyme Regis Old Town benefit from immediate parking and The Majors Cottage is located by the side of the Lym River. You can park at the bottom of Hill Road (virtually next to the front door) so to drop off your things at The Major’s Cottage before parking in the car park.
We tend to choose Woodmead Car Park (DT7 3PG), which is located a 2-minute walk away. Parking costs £35.00 for 3 days with the ‘JustPark App (car park number 7622).
