About Us
“Rock ‘n’ roll and relax…”
Mike & Anna launched @lymeregisstays with a passion to bring together a collection of boutique stays in Lyme Regis. Mike owned the first property in Lyme Regis in 2015, he has loved the area since childhood where he regularly visited with his family.
Since re-meeting Anna in December 2019 (a truly magical story, see link below). With Anna’s interior design and Mikes operational & project management skills this synergy enabled the re-mastery of seven period cottages in central Lyme Regis within three years. Their work is bringing some wonderful new owners on board so growth will be assured, all be it slowly with style & grace, of course.
Both with inspiring careers they have put their expertise to work in more of the day to day running of Lyme Regis Stays. Mike ran live music industry fave KOKO (Camden Palace) and The London Palladium for over 16 years and has spent over 20 years and still going in the UK festival scene each summer for the likes of Glastonbury, Download etc. An interesting fact: Mike has put on over 5000 concerts!
Anna former MD of Po Na Na PLC & Hammersmith Palais, recently sold her share in start up restaurant group ‘The Coconut Tree’, is Brand Director for Mayfair renowned MAHIKI and has run a successful brand consultancy business for the travel, music and hospitality industries for over 10 years.
Given their background it’s a delight for them when time allows to enjoy the incredible food & drink scene that has exploded over the years in Lyme Regis, thanks really to Mark Hix at the beginning of the foodie boom. Seeing now the likes of Harriett Mansell and so many incredible Lyme Regis restauranteurs (check out: ‘Eat, Rest & Play’ page for recommendations).
Mike & Anna have four children between them who also love Lyme Regis, ‘it’s just the best place for young & old’ they say!
They were both over the moon to have won ‘BEST BOUTIQUE STAY Dorset, Somerset & Bristol’ at the Muddy Awards. An incredible endorsement of their design led boutique holiday portfolio.
So importantly, if you're short of a good holiday playlist give Mike a shout below…
